How to get your Bespoke Kitchen ready for Christmas

The kitchen is one of the most used spaces within our homes – especially at Christmas time! So, with Christmas right around the corner here are a few ideas and tips on getting your bespoke kitchen prepared for the big day…

Centrepieces

The table or island is often the central focus point of your kitchen, so you want to make sure it is included in your festive decorations! A centrepiece is a classic way to do this; you can use garlands, baubles, candles etc. Ensure to pick colours that are not only Christmassy but also complement the colours of your bespoke kitchen. Be careful not to clutter the table too much though as you’ll need space for all the food!

Organising

To make Christmas day run more smoothly than ever, being organised is key. Decluttering pantries, cleaning ovens, getting your festive dinnerware out, are all things that should be done in advance. This way everything is ready and where it needs to be on the day.

Get decorating

Fairy lights are a popular decorative choice over Christmas and rightly so too. They add a warm and welcoming ambiance and can make spaces feel extra cosy. Hanging them around your cabinetry looks great and you can even get Christmas themed ones.

Garlands are another gorgeous way to decorate your bespoke kitchen. For a traditional look you could opt for deep green and red foliage with some dried orange slices. And for a more modern take, opt for neutral tones, lighter greens, with white or silver details.

Hot chocolate station

It’s the perfect time of year to cosy up on the sofa with a creamy hot chocolate so why not add a fun hot chocolate station to your kitchen! You can fill a jar with hot chocolate powder, another with mini marshmallows or chocolate sprinkles, along with whatever else you like to have with your warm cocoa drink. You could even use special festive mugs!

Smells like Christmas

Cinnamon, apple, mulled wine, orange and clove, are all scents that remind us of Christmas time. You can add these warming scents to your kitchen by simply using candles, diffusers, or potpourri, which not only smell good, but look lovely too!
