I cannot recommend Grahame and the team highly enough. They designed and built the most beautiful kitchen for us, which still looks (almost!) as good as the day it was fitted nearly 6 years ago! They also made a very large oak table for us which again is fantastic.

We have known Salcey Cabinet maker for nearly 14 years when they made us a beautiful corner oak cabinet for our grade 2 listed farmhouse. The quality of their work led us to engage them to create a bespoke kitchen and then later a fully kitted out bedroom, complete with bespoke shabby chic wardrobes, a dressing table and integral headboard. Both these projects are featured on their website. Everything was made really well and they listened to our requirements and paid attention to detail. We particularly appreciated the fit of all the units and the scribing around beams was perfect.
As a designer myself with high attention to detail I enjoyed working closely with Grahame and his team to secure our individual requirements.
We sold our house last year and we are sure that the finish and styling by in the farmhouse done by Salcey cabinet makers contributed in part to us selling the house to the first viewers of our home.
I can thoroughly recommend their work and wish that we still lived close enough to once again have work done. We would be confident they would be ideal craftsmen to make things to fit into our new home another listed cottage.

We were absolutely delighted with the superb quality workmanship for our bespoke bathroom vanity unit. Beautiful construction and finish and immaculately installed along with a quartz top. Grahame, Zena and Lorraine were all very helpful and organized.
I mentioned to Grahame the other day when he came down that the table is absolutely gorgeous and am so looking forward to having our first meal around it. We have purchased some beautiful brown leather chairs to go around it which certainly compliments the table.

After my initial internet search Salcey were the company that made contact in a positive way first and followed this up with a phone call.

We wanted new bedroom furniture but could not find what we wanted anywhere. Most shops could only offer expensive but not particularly robust looking items and we wanted furniture made of wood, not veneer, which would last for years.
I contacted Salcey and they were happy for me to come to the showroom and discuss our requirements. Whilst there I could see many items they had made and there are plenty of brochures and also a DVD to look at.
I felt confident in what I saw to proceed with an order. I knew what I wanted and had taken measurements. Grahame sketched a few things out and discussed the details. We talked about wood differences, finishes, knobs, lacquers, drawers and cost. I had a budget and he advised me accordingly.
I had a date in mind as the room needed decorating first. Everything arrived bang on time and was delivered into the room. I have had an experience before where a sideboard was left in a room complete with all packaging and travel casters – try removing all that on your own!
The furniture is beautiful and much admired. I would definitely use Salcey again and most certainly recommend them. I cannot think of a company or shop where you would get such top notch furniture, choice, service and finish.

I have been very satisfied with the complete package, from changing my kitchen from its 1980s state to a modern practical kitchen to complement our barn conversion.
